Blue light

Sunlight contains different light rays at different wavelengths. Colors on the red side of the spectrum have longer wavelengths and less energy as compared to blue light with a shorter wavelength and most energy.

It's good to be exposed to sunlight, in moderation, to pick valuable Vitamin D. Yet the continuation of being exposed to blue light that is emitted to us via our screens seems to be linked to health issues. Related to the segregation of melatonin (our sleep hormone) and our circadian rhythm (day/night rhythm)

There are solutions to this; use red light emitting light sources in the evening (..maybe not the best solution). Online one can purchase digital protection eyewear...

Or perhaps put the phone down ...for ones.
